ArtFrame Gallery in Cornwall Street, Plymouth is presently exhibiting a major show of original paintings by internationally renowned artist BEN MAILE. Collectors of his work include HM The Queen, Prince Charles, US Presidents, British Prime Ministers, The Sultan Of Brunei and his paintings feature in significant corporate and municipal collections worldwide.
Ben Maile has exhibited worldwide from Alaska to Australia and is the only British artist ever to win the prestigious annual commission from West Point Military Academy for his now famous painting ‘The Long Gray Line.’
ArtFrame Gallery is the only UK gallery showing original paintings by Ben Maile, as at the age of nearly 90 he is officially retired! We always hold a significant body of his work for sale and will accept commissions on his behalf.
Ben Maile who built his reputation in Cornwall during the 50’s 60's and 70's with his semi-impressionist oils on canvas, has legions of fans and collectors throughout the world and is potentially a good investment. Ben is particularly famous for his Military and Marine paintings, several of which are included in the exhibition and available for purchase at ArtFrame Gallery.
Please feel free to visit the Gallery at 61, Cornwall Street to view Ben’s work. Framed prices range from £1500 for a small water colour to £12000 for a large oil on canvas.
We also exhibit original paintings, bronzes, sculptures, ceramics and studio glass by professional artists from all over the globe. Additionally we provide an ‘in house’ professional and conservation picture framing service.
