Wendy Corbett

Wendy is best known for her luminous contemporary sky and seascapes in pastel, but is also an award winning wildlife artist. After a varied career spanning teaching, farming, sign writing and fork-lift truck driving, she launched her artistic career at a gallery in Kingsbridge, Devon, and has never looked back. Her pastels are applied in broad strokes and worked on quite quickly to capture the mood and feeling of a scene. Her passion for her subjects is reflected in her work, which is always observed first hand, whether its face to face with a wild animal, or at the break of dawn on a remote beach.
