Amy Chapman

Born in York in 1973, Amy trained at Harrogate College of Fine Art and Loughborough College of Art and Design. She teaches in the Art and Textile Departments of a number of colleges. Her work is inspired by quaint seaside villages and harbours filled with fishing boats; her delicate brushstrokes and distinctive colour palette combine to capture the changing moods of the sea in uniquely evocative images.
