Duncan Macgregor

Duncan is a keen sailor and takes inspiration from frequent trips around the coast of Britain. His distinctive palette conveys the cool yet vibrant shades of sky and sea as they appear in the brilliant light of the sun. Verging on the abstract, his work is characterised by the dense application of richly textured acyrlics, which create a sense of spontaneity and unstoppable energy.
